The Abandon Harris Campaign strongly condemns Israel’s ongoing bombardment of Lebanon, which has claimed the lives of at least 274 people, including 21 children, and injured over 1,000 more, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry.
The airstrikes, which have disproportionately affected women, children, and even medical personnel, are the latest act of aggression by Israel in the region, emboldened by international indifference and unwavering U.S. support.
What we are witnessing in Lebanon mirrors the atrocities committed in Gaza, where Israel has continued its brutal campaign with impunity. The Biden-Harris administration, like its predecessors, has not only turned a blind eye to these war crimes but has actively provided diplomatic and military support, making them complicit in the suffering of civilians across the Middle East.
This escalation comes on the heels of what marks one year since the start of the genocide in Gaza—a tragedy that has unfolded with little to no accountability for the perpetrators. Now, Israel has expanded its war machine to Lebanon, with full backing from Washington. It is clear that the U.S. and Israel’s agenda extends beyond Gaza and the West Bank; they are now extending their campaign of violence and land theft to Lebanon, and the Biden-Harris administration is fully supportive of these actions.
We call on all people of conscience to take a stand against this unchecked violence. The Abandon Harris Campaign reaffirms its mission to hold U.S. leaders accountable for their support of genocide and war crimes. This is a defining moment for Americans to rise up and demand an end to U.S. complicity in the slaughter of innocent lives.
This is not just an Israeli war against Lebanon—this is a war enabled by the Biden-Harris administration, and we will not allow it to continue without opposition. The future of justice and human rights depends on our collective action now.
