The Abandon Harris Campaign aims to empower individuals of conscience to leverage their vote in the U.S. presidential election and, in turn, drive moral change in the United States and globally. The Abandon Harris Campaign began as a sequel to the Abandon Biden Campaign when Joe Biden refused to call for a ceasefire in Gaza. He was given until October 31, 2023, to call for a permanent ceasefire, but when he did not, on November 1, 2023—”Ceasefire Deadline Day”—people of conscience vowed never to vote for Biden and to actively campaign against him nationwide.

Joe Biden dropped out on July 21. On July 22, we sent a clear message to Kamala Harris, expressing our willingness to meet, but she refused. On August 19, we officially abandoned her.

Our current goal is to hold Harris accountable for her continued support of genocide. If people of conscience can demonstrate that their votes against genocide led to a president’s defeat, it would send an undeniable message across the political landscape: genocide can never again be on the ballot.
